(BGO) – To gradually make tourism become local economic sector, Yen Dung district (Bac Giang province) defines to develop three major tourism products of spiritual – cultural tourism; ecotourism – resort; entertainment, leisure, sports and other ones with deep traditional cultural identities in the area.
The district targets to become one of the provincial tourism hubs by 2025, helping realize the goal of a modern industrial, service and tourism district which attracts about 500,000 tourist arrivals with tourism revenue of 115 billion VND, has three to five hotels with restaurants of three to four star standard, creates jobs to 800 – 1,000 labours in tourism field, complete to build local signature tourism products...

Yen Dung district boasts many potentials for tourism development, especially spiritual-cultural, ecological – resort, entertainment – leisure and sports.
In the upcoming time, the district expects to complete the Zoning off plan for entertainment, leisure and sport (golf) tourism in Nham Bien mountain range; spiritual tourism destination in close connection with “The journey to Buddhism of Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen Masters” and Tay Yen Tu national tourism complex.
Besides, the local authority has prepared the project to restore “The journey to Buddhism of Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen Masters” in the period 2021 – 2030 while preserving, promoting the tangible and intangible cultural values; mobilizing various sources to invest in the projects of Vinh Nghiem pagoda, Kem pagoda, Thien Lai pagoda, Yen Dung Golf Course and Service...; cooperating to build inland waterway port in Yen Dung district to serve tourism development.

The district also focuses on expanding the space, restoring the landscape, effectively exploiting and developing the value of Vinh Nghiem pagoda, enhancing service quality so as to bring the tours to Vinh Nghiem pagoda and Tay Yen Tu to become typical products of the provincial spirit and culture tourism.
The tourism connectivity is accelerated to adjacent localities with priority taken to Tay Yen Tu spiritual – ecological tourism complex, Suoi Mo ecotourism site, Kiep Bac temple spiritual cultural tourism site, Con Son spiritual ecotourism site.
More stores will be built to introduce and sell high quality farming, OCOP tourism products at several destinations of Vinh Nghiem pagoda and Nham Bien town while effectively exploiting signature and key products such as Yen Dung fragrant rice, Ngoi village pottery (Tu Mai commune), Tri Yen Soybean sauce, art carpenter (Lang Son commune) and creating local signature tourism products.

Additionally, the district has focused all sources to draw investment to construct, restore and develop some key tourism sites and infrastructure for tourism development; link the historic and cultural relic sites in Nham Bien mountain range as well as gradually establish community based tourism product.
The district should develop tourism products basing on local potentials, advantages and key tourism destinations with individual products while encouraging and supporting to maintain and revive traditional craft villages, develop local signature products in attachment with tourism development in the period 2021 – 2025.
