(BGO) – More than 400,000 visitors flocked to local landscapes and destinations in Bac Giang province within the Bac Giang Culture – Tourism Week 2023 (taking place from February 1 – 6), the Cultural and Information Division in Son Dong, Luc Ngan, Yen Dung and Luc Nam districts reported.
The popular destinations included Tay Yen Tu spiritual – ecotourism complex (Son Dong district); Mo Spring Ecotourism site, Than Nong temple, Bat Nha pagoda (Luc Nam district); Vinh Nghiem pagoda (Yen Dung district); Bac Hoa hamlet and Tan Son market in Tan Son commune (Luc Ngan district) among others.

Various cultural and sport activities in the Culture – Tourism Week were held in these locations. Particularly, thousands of visitors attended “Buddha music night” held in Vinh Nghiem pagoda, the procession of “Cu tran lac dao phu” woodblock set from Vinh Nghiem pagoda in Yen Dung district to Thuong (Upper) pagoda in Tay Yen Tu, Son Dong district, among others.
This year event lured not only provincial tourists but also huge number of visitors, travel agents and tourism associations from different provinces and cities like Quang Ninh, Hanoi, Hai Duong, Lang Son, Ho Chi Minh city…
The sectors, localities and relevant organizations strictly cooperated and thoroughly prepared all conditions to serve the visitors. It was a positive signal for local tourism sector.
In 2023, Bac Giang strives to welcome two million tourist arrivals.
