(BGO)- This time, the cherry trees presented by the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Association in Chukyo region (Japan) to plant in Tay Yen Tu spiritual and ecological tourism complex in Son Dong district are in full blossom. A large number of locals and tourists come to see the flower which is symbol of the “country of sunrise” right in the land of Bac Giang.
This Sunday morning (on March 19), the provincial People’s Committee of Bac Giang province will organize “Cherry tree planting and Vietnam-Japan cultural exchange” programme in Tay Yen Tu spiritual and ecological tourism, Son Dong district.

This programme is included in the series of events to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations (September 21, 1973- September 21, 2023).
The programme include numerous activities including planting cherry trees, experiencing cherry blossom garden with AR technology, Yosakoi dance and Vietnamese folk songs performances, trying Japanese and Vietnamese traditional costumes, enjoying Japanese cuisine and specialties of Bac Giang.

Since 2015, the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Association in Chukyo region has presented Bac Giang province more than 700 cherry trees to be planted at the provincial Convention Center, Hoang Hoa Tham park (in Bac Giang city), Suoi Mo tourism site (in Luc Nam district) and Yen The district where is the home to the national special relics.
Specially, the cheery blossom trees bloom in Tay Yen Tu spiritual and ecological tourism complex (Son Dong district) in the evergreen forest and mountain.

This year, the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Association in Chukyo region and Yokoi Mould Vietnam Company Limited (in Dinh Tram industrial park, Viet Yen district) continued to present nearly 200 cherry trees to Bac Giang province including 10 mature trees planted in Tay Yen Tu spiritual and ecological tourism complex.
The cheery blossom trees will contribute to creating a beautiful landscape of the tourism complex and give opportunity for local people and tourists to admire the beauty of Japanese cherry blossom right in Bac Giang. Besides, it will become the good symbol of the friendship of the people and Governments of Vietnam and Japan and between Chukyo region and Bac Giang province particularly.
