Hanoi to serve free traditional food for reporters

Hanoi will serve free traditional food for reporters at the International Media Centre of the upcoming second DPRK-USA Hanoi Summit Vietnam that takes place on February 27-28, according to the municipal Department of Culture and Sports.

A bowl of "bun thang" (noodle soup with shredded of chicken, pork and fried egg, mushrooms and dried turnip).

The dishes include “bun cha” (noodles with grilled meat), “banhcuon” (steamed rice pancakes), “bun thang” (noodle soup with shredded of chicken, pork and fried egg, mushrooms and dried turnip), “pho” (noodles served with beef or chicken in a hot bowl of broth), “xoiche” (steamed sticky rice with sweet porridge), “banhkhuc” (a ball of glutinous rice mixed with cudweed and filled with mung bean paste and seasoned pork), “gio cha” (pork pies), and “cha com” (green sticky rice and pork cake).

The capital expects to introduce its culture and draw more international tourists through this event.
