About 14.7 million USD invested to repair Thac Huong irrigation system

(BGO) – Nam Song Thuong Irrigation Works Exploitation One Member Company Limited  (NST Co.,Ltd) has implemented the project to repair and upgrade Thac Huong irrigation system in Bac Giang and Thai Nguyen provinces.

Total execution cost of over 350 billion VND (14.7 million USD) was mobilized by the Central capital under the management of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The major items are to revamp, upgrade Thac Huong dam, aqueduct, Dao river, main canals at level 2, canals and items on branches at level 3.

Thac Huong dam is among the key projects of the irrigation systems in the South of Thuong river located in Phu Binh district of Thai Nguyen province. It supplies water for production in two provinces of Bac Giang and Thai Nguyen which is under management of NST Co.,Ltd.

As schedule, the project will be completed in 2025 to ensure water supply to 19,600 hectares of agriculture and fishery farming, party revamp the environment, eco condition and develop other economies in the region.

Land clearance done for expansion project of Nhu Nguyet bridge

(BGO) – As of February 18, 2023, the last in 16 households whose land must be reclaimed to execute the expansion project of Nhu Nguyet bridge (Project) handed over the land for the construction contractor, reported Nguyen Ba Trang, Director of Project Management Board, Commander of Construction Contractor in Bac Ninh province.  

 

Two biggest FDI projects to Bac Giang make up over 45 percent of Vietnam’s total FDI inflow

(BGO) – Bac Giang province gained positive result in investment attraction in January 2023 with total registered capital sharply increasing against last year figure, helping the province rank first in FDI attraction nationwide in the first month of this year.

(BGO) – On January 2, the People’s Committee in Bac Giang province (PPC) held a ceremony to hand over the Investment Registration Certificate (IRC) and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to the investors to projects in local industrial parks.

 

VK Tech receives project to aid training equipment

(BGO) – The Vietnam – Korean Vocational College of Technology (VK Tech) on January 13 received project sponsored by Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in Vietnam to continue supporting the investment project of teaching facilities and equipment at the college since 2013.

 

Nearly 693 million USD of registered investment added to FDI projects in Bac Giang

(BGO) – Bac Giang province approved to increase registered capital of 44 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects in 2022 to add nearly 693 million USD, representing 1.7 fold increase year on year.
