(BGO) – Considering tax payer as the center, the Taxation Department in Bac Giang province has accelerated the digital transformation, typically successful application of electronic invoice (E-invoice). It proves clear efficiency in administrative procedure reform and supports tax payer.
E-invoice is applied at all businesses
Cong Minh Trading Company Limited in Bac Giang city supplies petrol products at 7 retail stations, 160 agents and several customers across the provinces and cities in the North. Since E-invoice was applied (July 1, 2022), the company can save a a lot of time and money for printing paper invoices then delivering them to far away customers. Right after issuing the E-invoices, the staff now can send them via email and Zalo to the buyers.

Moreover, the company links to accounting software application which helps the accountant and company leader supervise and timely control over the revenue, the tax amount for declaration and payment ontime.
Since applying E-invoice, Minh Ha Company Limited in Yen Dung district has timely issued the invoice and sent to customers. The company accountant Pham Thi Hoi said: “E-invoice with taxation code is highly accurate and confidential. It helps save a lot of time, cost and human resources thanks to the system integration. The application also prevent late payment leading to administrative punishment and invoice loss”.
Implementing the direction form the Governement and Department of Finance about applying E-invoice to replace the paper one since July 1, 2022, the Taxation sector has exerted efforts to support all economic organizations, individual and household businesses to make declaration and successfully use this form of invoice.
Facilitating tax payer
Vice Head of the provincial Taxation Department Nguyen Van Hung said the Department has highly focused on implementing E-invoice with taxation code created from cash register since late last year in order to strively manage the revenue and widespread E-invoice.

It brings practicaly benefits. The seller can issue E-invoice round the clock because invoice printed out a cash register is connected to transfer data to taxation office. Any error is adjusted actively because it is submitted to the taxation office at the end of each day.
The enterprise and household business are able to correctly control the retail revenue via the invoices. At the store, their owners are allowed to install many cash registers as regulation so as to issue invoice for customers rapidly and smoothly. The taxation sector encourages customers to take invoice after using the service and buying goods to enhance revenue management and prevent taxation loss.
As schedule by the end of first quarter this year, Bac Giang plans to pilot application of E-invoice with taxation code created from cash register at 23 companies and business households, including Guest House of the provincial People’s Committee in Bac Giang city, Vu Thinh Company Limited in Lang Giang district, Tam Duc Pharmaceutical and Medical Joint Stock Company in Luc Nam district among others.
Currently, the taxation office and competent agencies under the provincial Taxation Department have instructed the beneficiaries to install the data integration software with the taxation office. The application will be popularized across the province from April 1 this year.
The application of E-invoice helped taxation sector improve the revenue management efficiency. The provincial budget collection has hit 2,850 billion VND (120.6 million USD) for the first two months of this year, increasing nearly 34 percent year on year and accounting for 22 percent of 2023 estimates.
