(BGO) – Chairman of Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Le Anh Duong on March 30 inspected the implementation of social housing project for worker in new urban area of Nenh town in Viet Yen district and interchange project of Voi town (Lang Giang district) with Bac Giang – Lang Son expressway.
The social housing project for worker in new urban area of Nenh town was invested by consortium Sai Gon – Hai Phong Industrial Park Joint Stock Company and Evergreen Bac Giang Sustainable Development Investment Joint Stock Company.

As design, the project covers 3.2 hectares and consists of ten 20 storey buildings for workers with total floor area of 256,000 square meters which can provide housing demand for 12,000 people.
So far, it has been executed on schedule. However, the investor encountered some issues such as difficulties to connect to outside, slow sale due to obstacles in confirming house buying condition and loan for buying house.

After inspecting this project, the provincial leader praised the investor’s efforts to implement the project on schedule. He ordered departments and sectors to join hands in removing the arising problems.
At the same day, the PPC Chairman paid a field trip to inspect the interchange of Voi town with Bac Giang – Lang Son expressway. It aims to enhance the connectivity among the industrial parks and clusters in Lang Giang district with the expressway. Also, the project helps gradually complete the traffic and urban infrastructure in line with the planning to serve the socio-economic growth.

The interchange is done with total cost of over 200 billion VND from the provincial budget from 2022 to 2025.
The PPC Chairman directed Lang Giang district People’s Committee to cooperate with the investor to handle the obstacles during compensation for land clearance so as to complete the site work in April 2023.

He pressed on its importance to link and facilitate businesses at Tan Hung industrial park in trade and goods exchange. In addition to land clearance, the investor was requested to urge the contractor to accelerate the item construction per set schedule.
