(BGO) – The commercial activities in Bac Giang province has gained high growth rate since early this year and in April, reported the Department of Industry and Trade.
Accordingly, the total retail sales of goods and services was estimated at over 4.48 trillion VND (192.5 million USD) in April, up 2.6 percent compared to the previous month and over 18 trillion VND in the first four months, up 20.7 percent over the same period last year which accounted for 44.5 percent of the year plan.

Total retail sales of goods hit more than 3.22 trillion VND, up 2.7 percent over the previous month and 13 trillion VND in the first four months, increasing 17 percent against the same period. The service revenue was estimated at over 1.26 trillion VND, up 2.2 percent compared to the figure last month and nearly 5 trillion VND in the first four months, representing 31.6 percent year on year increase.
The above result was gained thanks to good control of Covid-19 disease, leading to normal operation of restaurant, beverage and food store, hotel, festival and tourism sites with higher demand for commodities and services.
To ensure sustainable growth of retail and service, the competent agencies has enhanced management and control over the market and goods to ensure safe source of commodity and service.
Besides, the produciers and suppliers offer many promotion events to stimulate the consumers.
