(BGO) - The General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (GACPRC) has conducted online inspection of lychee growing areas and packing facility in Luc Ngan district (Bac Giang province).
Particularly, the GACPRC checked 3 growing area codes of VN-BGOR 001 in 103 ha of Hong Giang commune; VN-BGOR 002 in 13 ha of Giap Son commune and VN-BGOR 003 in 54 ha of Tan Son commune as well as An Phat packing facility in Hong Giang commune.

After inspection, the GACPRC acknowledged thorough preparation of Bac Giang provincial competent agencies per Chinese requirement and strict implementation of technical factors relating to Covid-19 prevention and control, management and record making system at the growing areas and packing facility which met all conditions to export to China.
Now, the province has 149 growing area codes to export to China, mostly in the districts of Luc Ngan, Tan Yen, Luc Nam and Yen The with total area of over 15,000 ha (accounting for 56.4 percent of total lychee cultivation area).
Bac Giang has 300 packing facilities that are qualified for export regulation to this market and capable of serving 95,000 tonnes of exported fruits.
The GACPRC’s inspection and high evaluation of local lychee growing area codes and packing facility help boost up lychee consumption and ensure output for farmers.
