English festival about traditional holidays held in Le Quy Don Secondary School

(BGO) – Le Quy Don Secondary School (Bac Giang city, Bac Giang province) has recently held English Festival themed “Festivals in a festival”.

Teachers and more than 600 students at the school joined the art performances, camping and carnival activities. Each class made a camp and showcased the signature products in a local traditional festival as well as made up to become a famous and special character in the life, book, history and film.

The festival occurred in a vibrant and joyful atmosphere. At the camp site, the teachers and students displayed many signature products to highlight the festivals in the district of Yen The, Ngoc Hoi – Dong Da, Tay Nguyen elephant, Tho Ha among others.

Students make up and stage Au Co Mother Legend.

Also, they made up themselves to be characters in such works Tam Cam, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs), the Little Mermaid, Harry Potter...with self designed costumes from recycle materials. Besides, the students participated in several folk games such as tug of war, sack race.

The camp imitates Ngoi Hoi – Dong Da festival.

The event is a useful and active playground for the students to experience and expand their knowledge, enhance the communication skill, prove the creative capability and solidarity spirit, especially providing them chances to exchange, learn to improve English listening and speaking skills and reinforce the knowledge about local traditional festivals.

English competition among high-quality junior high schools in Bac Giang
(BGO) - An English exchange program took place at Le Quy Don junior high school in Bac Giang city on 22 March among the key and high-quality junior high schools of Voi town in Lang Giang district, Doi Ngo town in Luc Nam district, Neo town in Yen Dung district, Than Nhan Trung in Viet Yen district and Le Quy Don junior high school.
 
Over 20 billion VND invested in equipment and classroom for English study
(BGO) – Implementing the Project to renovate English teaching and studying in high schools in the period of 2016 – 2020, the People’s Committee in Bac Giang city has to date invested over 20 billion VND (over 862,000 USD) in purchasing the equipment for normal and special English learning classrooms.  
 
English festival themed Our Tet Holiday
(BGO) – Tran Nguyen Han Secondary School in Bac Giang city, Bac Giang province has recently held the English festival under the theme of “Our Tet Holiday” and experienced making Chung cake on Tet occasion.

(BGO) – Le Quy Don Secondary School (Bac Giang city) on January 8 organized English Festival under the theme of “Tet Holiday”, drawing nearly 650 students at the schools, the staff, teachers and parent representatives of 19 classes. 
 
A teacher of many excellent students at English
(BGO) - Teacher Pham Thi Van Nga (born in 1984) was assigned to teach at Tan Son High school, Luc Ngan district after graduating from the Faculty of English, Ngo Gia Tu College in the northern province of Bac Giang. In 2009, she taught English for Bo Ha Junior High School in Yen The district. Teacher Nga has demonstrated her teaching quality for both normal students and excellent students of grade 8 and 9.
