The Vietnamese Cultural and Art Association in the Czech Republic have held a gathering at the Sapa commercial centre in Prague on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) festival.
The highlight of the programme, held on January 8, was an Ao dai (Vietnam’s traditional long dress) show and art performances.

Hoang Dinh Thang, Chairman of the Union of Vietnamese People Associations in Europe which sponsored the gathering, lauded the Mrs Ao dai fund in Europe for its contributions to bringing together Vietnamese across Europe.
Ambassador Thai Xuan Dung said the fund has played a role in assisting Vietnamese at home affected by natural disasters, as well as the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
The ambassador expressed his hope that the union and the Vietnamese Association in the Czech Republic will continue their support to the Vietnamese Cultural and Art Association in organising art and cultural activities, helping to preserve and promote traditional culture.
Businesses care for labours on Tet occasion(BGO) – It is nearly one month to come Lunar New Year
2022. In spite of encountering numerous difficulties caused by Covid-19
pandemic, the businesses in the northern province of Bac Giang have taken
efforts to balance the expenses to give Tet bonus to labours. The gift helps
encourage and pay tribute to the labour as well as maintain stable human
resources.
Tet of love and sharing(BGO) -
The people’s living faces numerous difficulties due to impact of Covid-19
pandemic. In order to ensure Tet (Lunar new Year festival) for every family,
the levels, sectors and socio-political organizations in northern province of
Bac Giang are paying high attention to mobilizing resources to care for the
poor.
Bac Giang cares for needy people on Tet occasion(BGO) - Striving to present Tet
gifts to all poor households in Tan Yen district (Bac Giang province) (2,459
families) each worth 500,000 VND, the district Fatherland Front Committee (FFC)
has called on officials, public servants and labours at organizations, agencies
as well as the soldiers and armed forces in the district to donate at least one
day salary or income.
