The inter-commune festivals were held for the first time, directly directed by the District People's Committee so the preparations were thorough, helping create a colorful cultural living space with a series of meaningful activities such as cultural exchanges, ethnic costume performance, revival of offering ritual to pray for good harvests as well as going to the field, camping and various folk games like tug of war, rod pushing, shuttlecock throwing, pot smashing, stilt walking...

Each ethnic group has different languages and offerings but they all share the same content of thanking heaven and earth for good crops and a peaceful homeland. In recent years, some families or the elderly have paid attention to teaching the lyrics, singing and language of their people to the younger generation.
