The provincial People's Committee has issued a plan to carry out archaeological projects in the locality in the 2020-2025 period, which not only brings new awareness about the ancient land of the homeland but also contributes to raising the pride and sense of heritage protection, meeting the needs of the people's spiritual life and tourism development.
The creation of the cultural tradition of Bac Giang in the past and now, first of all, has been made by indigenous residents and generations of people who came to set up villages; mandarins and army generals who made merits on the land of Bac Giang; and those who went through Bac Giang land, admired and left lyrics, music works, paintings and pages of literature that have been handed down to posterity.

The land of Bac Giang also soon shaped the academic tradition under the feudal period. Over the past 800 years, 66 people passed royal exams, from doctorate to first doctoral laureate.
It can be seen that, in the totality of Bac Giang cultural subjects, literature has left a really clear hallmark with the system of steles with inscriptions and Han Nom bibliographies. Bac Giang literature from the 15th century was associated with the resistance war against the Ming army. World cultural celebrity and national liberation hero Nguyen Trai (1380-1442) had "Letter of Bac Giang Citadel" to persuade the enemy to surrender and twice wrote "Letter of Xuong Giang Citadel" for the same purpose. The names of Lang Giang - Xuong Giang - Can Tram also resounded in Nguyen Trai’s immortal epic "Binh Ngo Dai Cao" (Proclamation of Victory).
Next, the poet emperor Le Thanh Tong (1442 - 1497) had two poems about the scene of Xuong Giang, namely "Tru Long Nhan" (Staying in Long Nhan) and "Tru Xuong Giang" (Staying in Xuong Giang).

In the early 20th century, Bac Giang contributed many outstanding writers such as Tuong Pho, Le Van Truong, Bui Huy Phon, Xich Dieu, Trinh Nhu Tau, Nguyen Hong, Hoang Cam, Anh Tho and Thai Duy... Of them, three received the Ho Chi Minh Prize for literature and art.
Since the renovation period, a generation of Bac Giang writers has been holding a key position, with many new works.
In the new context, Bac Giang's culture has turned to a new page, joining the whole country towards integration and development. On the one hand, traditional heritage values continue to be tapped and improved, filling the cultural gaps in the past; on the other hand, it will exchange and acquire advanced cultures from the around the world in the spirit of making innovations and bringing into play the strength of the nation and the era.
