Sweet-potato growers in the Central Highlands are enjoying a windfall as prices have doubled from last year to VND15,000–20,000 ($0.61-0.82) per kilogram on higher demand and declining output.
As many as 116,300 enterprises registered for establishment, up 3.1% year on year, with combined registered capital of 1,086.8 trillion VND, down 14.6% year on year, in the first nine months of 2023, the General Statistics Office (GSO) reported on September 29.

period of handling alcohol concentration violations in Bac Giang province.
After five days, the authorities recorded 399 violation cases involving 67
cars, 355 motorbikes and four electric motorbikes, with total fines estimated
at 1.5 billion VND (61,715 USD).
