200 students at Vietnam Korean Vocational College of Technology granted with Samsung scholarship

(BGO) – Samsung Display Vietnam Company Limited in Yen Phong industrial park (Bac Ninh province) jointly cooperated with Vietnam Korean Vocational College of Technology (VK Tech) to offer Samsung scholarship in 2022 – 2023 academic year. To receive such scholarship, the candidate must pass examination and skill test by the company.

200 students at VK Tech were qualified for the scholarship, each worth 5 million VND. Also, they will be admitted to work at Samsung as internship, get assistance to fulfil graduation paper then be employed to work as engineer after graduation. They are third year students.

It is the third time Samsung Display Vietnam Company Limited has granted scholarship to VK Tech students. 69 students were awarded the scholarship in 2020 – 2021 year while 169 scholarships were granted in 2021 – 2022 academic year.

The activity is within the cooperation programme between VK Tech and Samsung to enhance the training effectiveness and create job to students.

Since 2017, Samsung Display Vietnam Company Limited has employed 100 to 300 students at VK Tech on yearly basis to work as internship and labour.

Scholarships granted to 130 orphans due to the Covid-19 pandemic

An art exchange programme, themed “The journey to the forest and the sea in spring”, was held by the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, the “For beloved Hoang Sa – Truong Sa” Club and Ho Chi Minh City Television, on January 8.

(BGO) - The Study Encouragement Association in Bac Giang province on December 12 cooperated with Samsung Electronics Vietnam Company Limited (Samsung) to hand over 200 scholarships and gifts totally worth over 240 million VND (10,440 USD) to impoverished students with good academic results in ten districts and city.

 

Chinese Embassy grants 30 scholarships to excellent students in Bac Giang province

(BGO) - In order to encourage excellent students of Bac Giang province, Chinese Embassy has granted 30 scholarships  to the students of Dao My primary and secondary schools, Lang Giang district and Long Son secondary school, Son Dong district, each worth 3.5 million VND (155 USD).

As many as 229 outstanding students in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue received Vallet scholarships during a ceremony on October 29.
