(BGO) – On Februay 12, the Thailand Press delegation led by Senator Banhan Bunkhet, Head of the Senate Committee of the Thai Senate, Chairman of the Phetchabun Local Journalists’ Association Advisory Board paid a working visit to the Journalists’Association in Bac Giang province (BGJA).
The member of the provincial Party Committee, member of Vietnam Journalists’Association, Editor-in-chief of Bac Giang Newspaper, Chairman of the BGJA Trinh Van Anh said a memorandum of understanding was inked 8 years ago between the Journalists’Association in two provinces.

It regulated that two sides regularly exchange the situation toward mutual support in profession; enhance communication on the publication of each other, especially about key events of two provinces and countries.
Seven working trips and professional exchanges were held from 2015 till 2019, detailing about mordern press method, press with socio-economic development, improved collaboration and mutual support in promoting the image of Bac Giang as the bridge between enterprises of two countries among others.

On behalf of the Bac Giang provincial leaders, the Permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Mai Son warmly welcomed the guest to the province. He pressed on a good chance for meeting and discussing information about the socio-economic situation, press operation in two countries so as to build closer bilateral relation.

The PPC Vice Chairman briefted the guest on the province, focusing on attractive tourism destination of various natural landscapes, historical sites and cultural identities; favorable weather condition to facilitate both industry and agriculture.
He hoped that during this working trip, Thailand journalists and politicians will gain much information, data, good image of Bac Giang province and help accelerate the press development in both countries as well as reinforced understanding, tight friendship between two nations.

Also, the provincial leader expected the guests to introduce more Thailand investors to Bac Giang, especially in food and farm produce processing.
On the ocassion, PPC Vice Chairman Mai Son presented some signature farm produce of Bac Giang to the working delegates.
